Accessing your results

Your results are accessible in 2 different ways. Rather than overwhelm you with too much information straight away, we will send you through regular healthy lifestyle tips and educational information about improving your cardiovascular health which you can opt-out to at any time.

1. CardiAction App

Download CardiAction on the App Store or Google Play.

Please note you’ll need to validate your email address first. The app will display your results similarly to how your Screener showed them and also links to your Lifestyle Recommendations.

2. Email Resources

You can view your Heart & Artery Screening Report and the Lifestyle Recommendation documents which were emailed to you.

This information is personalised for your own results.

Let’s Get Started

Your screening was taken using the USCOM BP+ Pulse Wave Analysis Device. Two key benefits of this technology are:

1. Measuring Central Blood Pressure

Rather than looking at how healthy your blood pressure is in your arm, we measured your blood pressure right by your aorta (centrally). Research has shown this is the most accurate non-invasive method when estimating heart & cardiovascular risk.

2. Measuring Arterial Flexibility

PWA measures how much inflammation there is in the arteries. If your Central Augmentation Pressure was outside of the CardiAction Target Range, this suggests there’s excess inflammation and that can result in the arteries losing some flexibility.

Visit your Screening Report or the CardiAction App to read about each measurement that was taken and see whether your results are in line with the CardiAction Target Ranges. The CardiAction Target Range (blue area) reflects the most beneficial result for cardiovascular risk management. Your Lifestyle Recommendations are tailored to best bring you in line with the Target Range.

Your key steps from here:

  • Read your results and understand what your cardiovascular health is displaying.

  • Pick one simple change that you are likely to find easier to incorporate into your daily habits. You may opt to focus on either lifestyle, exercise, nutrition or supplements. Examples are:

  1. Taking the stairs not the lift.

  2. Switching to unsalted, roasted nuts rather than a processed snack.

  3. Starting an Omega-3 Supplement.

  • Book in for your re-screening. Keep an eye on changes to your results and introduce another lifestyle recommendation.

  • Share the information with your friends and family and encourage them to book a screening.

Important – if you are identified as being at an elevated risk and received a medical referral, it’s important that you visit your healthcare provider for further testing and potential treatment.
